Week 1 of the 2022 NFL season is here, with several exciting matchups scheduled to start the year. The Buffalo Bills and LA Rams get things started, but there’s plenty more action on Sunday.
Bills Face Rams In Season Opener
The NFL season gets underway on Thursday night as the Bills travel to SoFi Stadium to face the reigning Super Bowl champions, the Rams. Buffalo is trying to bounce back this season after being eliminated by the Kansas City Chiefs in the playoffs.
They’re also the preseason favorites to win the title this season after making some great moves in the offseason to improve their roster. LA hopes to be the ninth team to repeat as league champions this season.

Los Angeles will be facing the best roster in the league, which improved by acquiring Von Miller from the Rams in the offseason. Stafford must limit his interceptions in tonight’s game and for the rest of the season after leading the league in that category in 2021.
Buffalo gets the win on the road.
Steelers Face Bengals In AFC North Clash
The Pittsburgh Steelers kick off the 2022 season against their division rivals, the Cincinnati Bengals, at Paycor Stadium. Pittsburgh is coming off an unexpected playoff berth in 2021.
It will start the season with newly acquired quarterback Mitchell Trubisky at the helm after the retirement of future Hall of Famer Ben Roethlisberger. However, the offensive line is still the biggest question mark for the Steelers, as they should again have one of the top defenses in the league.

The Bengals also had problems protecting QB Joe Burrow but have made several upgrades to their offensive line, unlike the Steelers.
Burrow also missed a lot of time in training camp while recovering from an appendectomy and could have some early struggles on Sunday. Cincinnati held Pittsburgh to 20 points combined while sweeping them last season and are hoping for their third straight win against them on Sunday.
The Bengals win their home opener in a close contest.
Cowboys Host Bucs In Important NFC Matchup
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers travel to AT&T Stadium to face the Dallas Cowboys in the featured game on Sunday night. The Cowboys begin the season with concerns about the offensive line and hope that QB Dak Prescott will use his mobility to move outside the pocket and create plays. However, the offense will be without Amari Cooper, who was traded to the Cleveland Browns in the offseason.

They have made some improvements on offense, acquiring former Pro-Bowl tight end Kyle Rudolph to help mitigate the loss of Rob Gronkowski and still have one of the league’s best defenses.
The Bucs roster is still deeper on offense than the Cowboys, who have the same weapons as last season. Tampa won last year’s game against Dallas in a 31-29 thriller, and a close game can also be expected on Sunday night.
Dallas wins at home in a close defensive struggle.
