This convoluted NFL season has shown us some new twists and a lot of player injuries with more coming almost every week. Then, we have the COVID-19 protocols to worry about with some teams having their facilities shut down for days at a time because of a virus infection. Here is a rundown of who is out for week 13.
NFL Injuries Still A Threat
The New York Giants, who, at 4-7, are leading the losing NFC East, have seen their starting quarterback Daniel Jones suffer a hamstring and is listed as day-to-day for the time being. The G-men do have a backup in Colt McCoy, who could start against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday afternoon.
Running back Josh Jacobs of the Las Vegas Raiders has sprained his right ankle last game and is questionable for the Jets game on Sunday. Also, fullback Alec Ingold is out with a rib injury and Jalen Richards is still sick and questionable for the game.

The Miami Dolphins have a decision to make concerning Tua Tagovailoa, who jammed the thumb on the hand of his throwing arm, and is perhaps 50-50 at best to play against the Cincinnati Bengals. Fortunately for the Dolphins, they have the ever-dependable Ryan Fitzpatrick healthy and ready to go.
J.C. Jackson leads the New England Patriots with six interceptions. The third-year cornerback was literally knocked out of the game with the Arizona Cardinals in the fourth quarter, landing awkwardly on his back and hip is day-to-day.
Right tackle George Fant of the New York Jets has some sort of knee and ankle injury and has not been practicing. He could miss his second game in a row.
Robert Griffin III put up a valiant effort for the Baltimore Ravens against the Steelers on Wednesday afternoon but pulled a hamstring in the second quarter. Typical RG3, he played on in pain, but finally had to sit down in the middle of the fourth quarter. He is day to day. Meantime, it looks like reigning NFL MVP Lamar Jackson will be done with his COVID-19 quarantine in time to play against the Dallas Cowboys.

The already-depleted, but undefeated, Pittsburgh Steelers, have lost excellent linebacker Bud Dupree in that afternoon game against the Ravens on Wednesday. It turns out that Dupree has a torn ACL and will miss considerable time.
Running back David Johnson of the Houston Texans is still out with concussion protocols and may or may not play in Week 13 against the Indianapolis Colts.
