After both the LA Clippers and the Utah Jazz fell yesterday, it’s apparent that there is still a lot of work to be done in this second half of the NBA season. Tonight’s lineup includes a number of tight games and there are definitely some challenges for sports gamblers. With eight games on tap, NBA Monday is going to offer up several underdog wins.
Bucks Face The Wizards
The Milwaukee Bucks and the Washington Wizards face off tonight, with the Bucks in good position. They’re 24-14 on the season and have the second-ranked offense in the league, entering tonight’s game on a five-game winning streak. The Wiz have had some difficulty lately and have been extremely inconsistent.
Unibet is giving the Bucks -375 tonight, while the Wizards are getting +295. An 8.5-point advantage for Milwaukee on an Over/Under of 241 (-112) would seem to indicate a blowout is imminent. This game should make for some easy money for gamblers.

The Brooklyn Nets continues to run hard, now sitting on a 26-13 record. They will face the New York Knicks tonight, but will take the court without a couple of key players. Both Kevin Durant and Blake Griffin won’t be playing, with Durant dealing with a left hamstring strain and Griffin out with a knee problem. Griffin, who has yet to play a game for the Nets, says he’s ready, but keeping him benched a little longer will make sure he’s at 100%.
Even without the two powerhouses, the Nets are odds-on favorites to win. Unibet is giving them -375 and 8.5 points, and it’s likely Brooklyn won’t have any trouble. The Over/Under of 223 (-112) might be a little high, given the numbers these two teams have been putting up recently.
Clippers Hang Out In Texas
The Clippers face the Dallas Mavericks in another road game tonight. The last time these two faced each other, in December, the Mavs had little trouble securing the win, handing the Clippers an embarrassing 124-73 defeat. This time around, though, things are going to be a little different.
The Clippers have been in a funk lately, despite having won three straight games before the All-Star break. They just took a loss against the New Orleans Pelicans last night, while the Mavericks are coming in having one five of their last six. This is going to be a tight game, with the Clippers always able to count on raw talent to get the job done. They’re getting -121 to the Mavs’ +102, with a spread of just 1.5 points (-112). This game can be expected to go down to the wire, and the Over/Under of 227.5 (-109) shouldn’t be a problem.
Lakers Face Warriors As Favorites
The other LA team, the Lakers, have had difficulty of their own. They’re not playing like the 2020 champions they are and now sit at 25-13. They take on the 20-19 Golden State Warriors tonight, but will suit up without several key players. Anthony Davis is still out, but Kostas Antetokounmpo and Marc Gasol are out, as well, according to Frank Vogel.

Unibet has them at -127 and has the Warriors at +106. With just a two-point spread in favor of the Lakers, this is going to be a game to watch, with both teams ready to light the court on fire. The Over/Under of 224 (-109) shouldn’t be a problem.
With the exception of the Bucks/Wizards game, most of the action tonight looks to be close. Once again, expect the Charlotte Hornets to put on a show, as they’re getting -155 and 3.5 points against the Sacramento Kings. The Over/Under of 239 (-112) seems really high for this game and a little action on the Under is in order.
