Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 Free Picks
While Kevin Harvick had the hot-foot in early May, Brad Keselowski is the driver to beat over the last few weeks. He has two wins and two Top-10 finishes in his previous four races and has not finished worse than 13th in eight straight races.
Keselowski also possesses a phenomenal track record at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. He not only is the defending champ here but he also won back in 2017 and came second in 2018. Not only does he have three podiums in the last three years at this track, but Keselowski has also finished in the Top-10 in five straight and seven of the previous nine races in ATL.
I am actually a bit surprised that his odds are just +650 and see this as a great value pick if you want to try and hit the overall winner. My preference for Keselowski will be to finish in the Top-3 at +225.
Another driver I am looking to bet on this weekend is Kurt Busch. While his brother Kyle often gets the most attention. Kurt has strung together a number of strong races and is currently sitting in 10th place in the Series. Busch, like Keselowski, has a strong history of racing at Atlanta, finishing third, eights, seventh and fourth in his previous four races here. He’s also placed in the top-10 in 11 of his last 12 that is where our bet here will lay. Kurt Busch at -105 to finish in the Top-10 looks more and more like a solid play the longer I consider it and also makes a great second leg for our parlay.
Rounding out my trio of picks for the Honor QuikTrip 500 will be a Top-5 finish from Kevin Harvick. Harvick currently leads the Cup Series by 24 points and despite an 11th place finish last week has been dominating the field. Much like the aforementioned two racers, Harvick has seen great success at Atlanta in recent years. He won the race in 2018 and has finished in the Top-10 five years in a row. His finish last week was the first time he failed to make the Top-10 all season and I expect him to be aching to redemption in Atlanta. At -112, this caps off our Sunday picks and parlay for the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500.
Best Pick | Keselowski Top 3 (+225) & Harvick Top 5 (-112) & Kurt Busch Top 10 (-105)
