The NBA is coming back July 30 and not a moment too soon for basketball fans who have been deprived a proper conclusion to the 2019-20 season since Rudy Gobert’s positive coronavirus test March 11 that set off the worldwide cascade of sports league cancellations. Now, the NBA will look to finish what it started with a 22-team “bubble” at the Disney Resorts in Orlando, an eight-game finish to the regular season and four best-of-7 playoff rounds to determine a champion. We take a look at each of the teams involved as we move closer to the official return and today we’ll look at the Utah Jazz team in our Sports Intel preview:
Utah Jazz Team Preview 2019-2020 Re-Boot
(41-23, 4th in West, 8.5 games behind No. 1)
Where we left off: The Jazz found success ahead of the league suspension in March, scoring five victories in its last six games. Before that, the Jazz had gone on another run earlier in the year, winning 12 out of 13 – seven of which were straight wins. That took the team high on the charts in terms of both offense and defense, and put the Jazz in a great position to make it to the playoffs.
Remaining schedule: July 30, New Orleans Pelicans; Aug. 1, Oklahoma City Thunder; Aug. 3, LA Lakers; Aug. 5, Memphis Grizzlies; Aug. 7, San Antonio Spurs; Aug. 8, Denver Nuggets; Aug. 10, Dallas Mavericks; Aug. 13, Spurs.

Key injuries, absentees: PF Bojan Bogdanovic (wrist surgery)
Odds to Win Title: 80-1
Can they win it all? The Jazz would have preferred to have Bogdanovic on the court for the upcoming games, but the team can still manage without him. Gobert, O’Neale and Mitchell, the latter of which has already had two playoff appearances, will be able to overcome the loss and find success. Players have remained positive and focused, and there’s no shortage of energy. Provided Utah can put its past in the rear-view mirror, the team is in a great position to go all the way once the action kicks off.
That’s all for our short preview of the Utah Jazz team ahead of the NBA season re-boot in Orlando. They could be an interesting pick for your NBA betting to go all the way once we’re up and running again.
