The South Carolina Gamecocks are on the road tonight in a game against the Auburn Tigers, and they’re going to have to play without one of their key players, Keyshawn Bryant. This could prove to be devastating to the team, and has helped create the odds scenario seen for the game.
Bryant Injured For South Carolina
The Tigers are 15-2 on the season, 3-2 in the SEC. The Gamecocks are 10-7 and 2-2 in the conference, and will be playing without Bryant. He’s out due to a head injury he suffered this Saturday in the team’s win against Texas A&M and isn’t well enough to be put back on the court. With a little luck, Trae Hannibal, nursing an ankle injury, will be able to play, but he isn’t yet at 100%. South Carolina has won their last two, but tonight could be the end of the streak. Auburn is favored heavily at -725 and has everything going for it. However, the Gamecocks look good against the spread (ATS), going 5-2 in their last seven games, and will be strong enough to do it again tonight.
The Louisville Cardinals are hosting the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, and they’ve been a surprise team this year. They sit in second place in the ACC, just barely behind the Florida State Seminoles, with a 6-1 conference record and took down Duke University this past Saturday. The Cardinals have found a solid rhythm and will turn it up a notch tonight against the Yellow Jackets.

At 3-5 in the ACC, they’re struggling to find their footing, despite important wins against the North Carolina Tarheels and Boston College, and will find more of the same tonight. Louisville is getting a solid -1099 moneyline, and taking a chance on the Over is worth it. Given Georgia Tech’s strength and Louisville’s talent, this is going to be a high-scoring game and the 132.5-point consensus is going to be broken.
Knights vs Hawkeyes
The Rutgers Scarlet Knights and the Iowa Hawkeyes are the Cinderella stories of the Big Ten this year. They have both been performing better than initial expectations, and tonight’s game at Carver-Hawkeye Arena is going to set the pace for the next several weeks of action. Rutgers can now brag about being listed in the national rankings – a feat it hasn’t achieved since 1979 – and is currently in third place.
Unfortunately for the Scarlet Knights, their road performance hasn’t been that good this year. They’ve only taken one victory in four conference games, and are looking to turn things around tonight. They have the capability, averaging 58.7 points allowed per game (APG) this year. That gives them enough to be listed as the best in the Big Ten in points APG, and seventh across the country. However, they’re set to go up against the best scoring offense in the conference, and this will be their downfall. At -235, the Hawkeyes are going to take the win, but this defense/offense match is going to keep the score low. Take the Under at 138 (-110).
Pirates vs Friars
The Seton Hall Pirates host the Providence Friars tonight and both have been performing relatively well lately. The Pirates just beat St. John’s Red Storm for their eighth straight win, which is going to give them a little burst of energy tonight, while the Friars are coming off a loss at the hands of the Creighton Bluejays.
Because the Pirates have been on top of their game, they have to be given the odds for NCAAF tonight. The moneyline swings in their favor at -440 and there’s little doubt that they’ll take the win. They’re also going to cover the spread, which they did in seven of their last eight contests, and expect the score to go over.
