Celtics Find Their Mojo To Keep The NBA Playoffs Interesting

Celtics Find Their Mojo To Keep The NBA Playoffs Interesting

The Boston Celtics are back, having deftly beaten the Philadelphia 76ers in Game 2 of their NBA Playoffs series 121-87. With that, the team has found their mojo and will look to keep it tonight. The Denver Nuggets, on the other hand, are easily handling business against the Phoenix Suns and will continue in Game 3.

Sixers Lose Ground

The 76ers comes a little beaten into this game after losing Game 2. Now, the objective of the squad is to take advantage of the field factor to put their rival against the ropes. The Celtics defeated Philadelphia resoundingly in the second duel to stay alive, and will now try to win one of the two games to be played at the Wells Fargo Center to upset the balance even more.

The Celtics put everything they had in that game to recover and didn’t disappoint its fans. There’s still a lot of work to be done, however, and they can’t let up. Joel Embiid is going to be even more recovered than he was in Game 2, which is going to give the Sixers additional strength.

Boston has a real chance of taking Game 3 if they continuing playing like they did in the last game. If they can keep Philly outside of the paint, they will win tonight.

The Suns Begin To Set

The Suns come into Game 3 somewhat disheartened after losing the first two games they played in Colorado. Now the objective is to recover and add their first victory that will allow them to later equalize the series. It’s not an easy task, as the Nuggets continue to show sheer dominance.

Denver comes into this third game in great shape after clearly beating the Suns in both games. The franchise can be expected to come out swinging tonight in order to add a victory that will allow it to practically liquidate its rival.

The Nuggets usually lower their playing level a bit on the road, something the Suns will look to take full advantage of tonight. This is looking like a very even duel, although slightly favorable to Phoenix because of what’s at stake.

However, the Suns are going to run into trouble once again. The Nuggets are going to keep them backpedaling to take their third win and be closer to advancing.

The Heat Are Hot Under the Collar

The Miami Heat will arrive for Game 3 of their series against the New York Knicks tomorrow with a bit of anger. They took Game 1 but then dropped Game 2, in part, because of the absence of Jimmy Butler. He’ll be back for tomorrow’s game, but is still dealing with an ankle injury that could reduce his output.

The Knicks will be a little calmer heading into the third game following their recent win. Now, the roster’s goal is to try to regain the lost home-court advantage, trying to take advantage of the stature of Randle, Brunson and Barrett to do so.

If Butler is on his game, the Heat will be unstoppable. Gabe Vincent, Kyle Lowry and Kevin Love are contributing a lot when they have to play, and putting them up alongside the six-time All-Star will give Miami a huge advantage.

Lakers Dry Up In Game 2

The Golden State Warriors were bound to avoid a 0-2 loss in the series against the Los Angeles Lakers. They took Game 2 and, in doing so, became the 16th consecutive team to lose the first game of a playoff series at home but won the second.

Losing Game 1 of the series left the team in a bit of a slump, but their remarkable ability to bounce back in Game 2 and cover for the loss in Game 1 is unlike anything seen in recent years. Handing the Lakers a decisive 127-100 loss showed that the team is nowhere near done in the playoffs.

If Klay Thompson and crew continue doing what they did in Game 2, the Warriors will take Game 3. It looks like that’s going to happen, which means they’re about to move ahead in the series tomorrow.
