The buzz about Oakland players relocating to Las Vegas has intensified. In relation to the team’s plans to move the game to Las Vegas, Commissioner Rob Manfred expressed regret for Oakland fans, yet refuted accusations from Oakland’s mayor that the franchise employed city negotiations as a coercion tactic.
After being ranked last in the American League last season, the franchise disclosed that it had secured a deal to acquire land close to the Las Vegas Strip with plans to construct a stadium equipped with a retractable roof. This is after the team’s efforts to construct a stadium in California’s Bay Area fell through.

Last November, sales for the Mexico City series opened up and were all claimed in less than three hours, totaling 20,062 seats. Ticket costs range from 680 to 4,200 pesos ($37.64 to $232.51), but the figures can rise with subsequent resales.

The Tampa Bay Rays have won a total of 20 games this season, picking up a 14-0 record when playing at Tropicana Field. They are also part of a small group of teams in the modern era to have achieved at least 20 wins in their first 23. Impressively, Tampa Bay has managed to outscore their opponents by a huge margin of 102-34 when playing on their home field.

Luis Arráez was not part of the starting lineup for the Miami Marlins on Monday and it showed. It was an important game for the team, the start of a four-game series on the road against the Atlanta Braves.
Arráez suffered a minor injury to his left index finger last week, so the hope is that it is not a recurrence of that problem. He has shown himself to be the best hitter in the Big Show this season, with a .444, and he also has a .506 on-base percentage.
The Braves took down the Marlins on Monday night, handing them an embarrassing 11-0 loss. The good news for Marlins fans and the team, though, is that Arráez is expected to return Tuesday. Oddsmakers aren’t convinced it will be enough, giving the Braves the game at odds of around -230 to +190.
