There are ten games on the schedule for Friday as the season moves closer to the midway point. Here’s a look at some of the action slated for tonight in the NBA.
Warriors Try To End Road Skid In Philadelphia
The Golden State Warriors and Philadelphia 76ers will duel on Friday night at Wells Fargo Center. The Warriors are 14-15 and fourth in the Pacific Division Standings. Since a recent streak where they won ten of 14 games, they’ve lost four of the last five games and are trying to avoid their fifth straight road loss. Golden State will also be without Stephen Curry for a few weeks after injuring his left shoulder in their 125-119 loss to the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday.
The Sixers have recently turned things around after losing three straight on the road. Tonight, they go for their sixth straight home victory after winning seven of their last 11 games. Philadelphia is six games behind the Boston Celtics in the Atlantic Division standings with a 15-12 record. In their previous game against the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday, they scored 80 first-half points on their way to a 123-103 victory.

Nets Go For Fifth Straight Versus Raptors
The Brooklyn Nets and Toronto Raptors clash tonight in an Atlantic Division battle at Scotiabank Arena. The Nets are now second in the division, trailing the Boston Celtics, and have won three of their last four road games.
This is the season’s final meeting with Toronto, with Brooklyn going for the season sweep with a win tonight. They were victorious in their last game, beating the Washington Wizards 112-100 on Monday night.
Toronto hasn’t had a good start to the season and is in the middle of their longest losing streak of three games. They’re at the bottom of the division with a 13-15 record and are 8.5 games behind the Celtics.
The Raptors lost on Wednesday night to the Sacramento Kings at home 124-123 after losing two straight road games against the Orlando Magic. Second-leading scorer O.G. Anunoby will miss his second straight game tonight for Toronto with a hip injury.

Nuggets Look To Extend Division Lead Against Lakers
The Denver Nuggets head to Los Angeles to face the Lakers in a crucial Western Conference matchup. Denver is the leader in the Northwest Division with a 17-10 record and has a slim 1.5-game lead over the Portland Trail Blazers.
Denver has won three straight games and got a 141-128 win over the Washington Wizards in their last game on Wednesday, as Nikola Jokic scored 43 points on 17 of 20 shooting to lead all scorers. He also had 14 rebounds and eight assists in the victory.
The Lakers have been slumping recently after a stretch where they won eight of ten games. They have an 11-16 record and are at the bottom of the Pacific Division standings. LA recently went 3-3 on their last road trip, including a big win in Milwaukee against the Bucks.
